2 galleriesDubbed The Battle of Britain by Promoter Matchroom Boxing, the headline fight of the evening, a World Title fight between Carl "The Cobra" Froch V George "St" Groves proved to be a phenomenal fight with Froch hitting the canvas early, only to get up and fight his way at least into being in with a chance. Groves continued to outpoint the champion from Nottingham throughout the fight until later on with Froch needing a stoppage to win, he caught Groves with a combination which saw the referee wave off the fight and hand the fight to Carl Froch. On the undercard of the bill, WBA World Super Bantamweight Champion Scott Quigg took on Argentina's Diego Silva, taking an emphatic win by stoppage in the second round.
