W.B.A World Champion, Scott Quigg made short work of challenger Stephane Jamoye of Belgium in this title defence at the Phones 4 U arena in Manchester. After weathering the Belgian's early attacks and literally grinning through the punches at the prospect of shooting back with his own shots, Quigg soon delivered, punishing Jamoye with his destructive, trademark bodyshots, eventually toppling the game Belgian, who still looked weary after eventually rising to his feet where the referee correctly put a halt to the contest. Matchroom Promoter Eddie Hearn is now keen to make the hotly anticipated fight with I.B.F World Champion, Carl Frampton the next fight on Quigg's schedule; with also whispers of a potential fight with Leo Santa Cruz on the horizon, the next few months of negotiations are going to be very interesting indeed in the Super Bantamweight division.
